Protect Water Security

Water sustains life. Arizona’s long-term water security, and the future of our state, is threatened by ongoing drought. As President of the Navajo Nation, Jonathan worked with the Trump Administration to expand access to clean water in Northern Arizona, including communities outside tribal lands. We need strong leadership to protect Arizona’s share of Colorado River water while safeguarding groundwater needed to support farms and families.

In Congress, Jonathan will fight to:

• Secure water rights settlements that provide Arizona with its fair share of water.

• Invest in critical water systems across rural Arizona by updating existing infrastructure, such as large water lines, wastewater lines, and water treatment facilities.

• Support new technologies that help conserve water.

• Protect our precious groundwater.
